We are thrilled to introduce our new Summer 2022 interns! This diverse group of students and educators are working towards more accessible, equitable mental health resources for students everywhere.
Education Interns
Our education interns, Isabelle, Yara, and Radhika, are spending the summer working on our Educator Platform and community. They are creating CASEL-appropriate social-emotional learning lesson plans for the educators to use on Neolth and helping to build a community of educators around the country to expand access to SEL and mental health curriculum in schools. With a diverse background in education, mental health, and education technology, this group brings invaluable insights into what educators need and want in an SEL product.
Marketing & Outreach Interns
Our marketing & outreach interns, Aliza, Adele, Chaley, and Navya, are spending the summer working on various outreach projects and marketing materials. They've already created social media posts introducing our intern class (check them out on our Instagram @neolth!) and continue to create new content for our School Communications Pack. This Pack is for our school customers, providing them with all the information they need to spread the word about Neolth to their students. This diverse group of high school and college students brings creativity and a deep understanding of the student experience, allowing them to build communications that really speak to students of all ages.
Blog Creation Interns
Our blog creation interns, Burgundy, Ada, and Bryan, are spending the summer, well, creating blogs! Writing about their personal experiences with mental health including the pressures student-athletes face, the stress of working and being a student, and the effects of racial discrimination, this group is bringing life to REAL student experiences. Their work will help us to break down the stigma around mental health, making their peers feel less alone. It will also allow school staff to gain insight into what students are really going through - and make decisions about how to support them accordingly. Stay tuned for their blog series, going live later this summer!
Video Creation Interns
Our video creation interns, Jacob, Bryan, and Yasmeen, are led by our long-time Ambassador and Intern, Margaret, in creating video series' about their lived experiences with mental health. These Student Stories videos are YouTube-style series' found on the Neolth app and have been breaking down stigma and helping peers feel less alone since their launch. These new creators bring a new breath of creativity and vision to our Student Stories videos, including animations and some new video topics. They'll be live on the Neolth app in the coming school year.
We want to thank our wonderful group of interns for their continued hard work and dedication to making difference in the mental health of students everywhere. We're consistently impressed with their ideas, professionalism, and bravery in their pursuit of this mission.
